What are Zoosexuals?
"Zoosexuals" are zoophiles that identify themselves as zoophiles as if it were a sexual orientation, much like heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, ect.
They have only labeled themselves this recently, and the term is being used frequently in zoophile circles on twitter.
Please keep in mind when reading this that I do not beleive zoophilia and bestiality to be the same thing, nor do i beleive all zoophiles have or will have sexual intercourse with animals. When I refer to "animal" I mean "nonhuman animal".

History of LGBTQ+ Pride
LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Trans, Cont.) is a group of individuals who who do not confide with society's gender standards (man and women are the only genders, and can only be heterosexual).
People who were LGBTQ+ were systematically oppressed by the government (federal laws that prevented gay marriage, LGBTQ+ protection, ect.) and society created a stigma that homosexuals and transgenders are not normal. This is called homophobia and transphobia respectively.
On June 28th, 1969, the Stonewall Inn in New York City, which was a popular spot for LGBTQ+ to gather, was raided by police. Many employees and patrons of the inn were arrested.
Following the arrests, riots started near the area for around 5 days. 1 year later in 1970, gay rights activists marched on the anniversary of these riots to celebrate gay pride, and in later marches in the years following, LGBTQ+ pride.
June 28th was named "Christopher Street Liberation Day", and the month of June was named "Pride Month",
What is Zoophilia?
Zoophilia is a paraphilic disorder defined as the "sexual attraction of a human toward a nonhuman animal, which may involve the experience of sexual fantasies about the animal or the pursuit of real sexual contact with it (i.e., bestiality)".
And while many, if not most zoophiles are not born this way, you cannot choose the attraction. There is a direct connection to the attraction being caused by a child getting trauma from abuse or watching abuse occur, either physically or sexually. Either this or other mental disorders or illnesses that carried the attraction as a side effect.
Why is "Zoosexual" a Harmful Label?
Zoophilia is not a sexual orientation, it is classified as a paraphilic disorder. Paraphilic disorders are defined as "paraphilias that cause distress or cause problems functioning in the person with the paraphilia or that harm or may harm another person." Sexual orientation/sexuality is defined as "a person's identity in relation to the gender or genders to which they are typically attracted; sexual orientation". This is an official definiton, the definition a lot of zoophiles throw around is from an outdated fan translation of a study from 2006, which has a very biased and non-inclusive definition of sexual orientation.
Sexuality is in no way the attraction to species, it is the attraction to a persons gender identity. If it was the attraction to species, homophobia would not exist.
While you cannot choose to become a zoophile, it does become a choice when you choose to wear zoophilia as an identity and "sexuality".
Zoophiles are not included in LGBTQIA+ and it never will. Promoting a paraphilic disorder that fetishises a species that cannot even consent (which i will get to later) was not the intention of the 1969 Stonewall riots, and it will not be the intention of any of the following LGBTQ+ marches or parades. The LGBTQ+ community does not owe anything to zoophiles. Pride month belongs to the LGBTQIA+ community, and the LGBTQIA+ community only.
Zoophiles claim that "zoophile is a sexuality" are inherently LGBTphobic, whether they include it in LGBT or not. They claim zoophiles are oppressed, they say things like "zoophile pride", anyone opposed are bigoted/ableist/zoophobic, coining the term "zooromantic", as well as creating multiple flags for it, all of which is LGBTQ+ erasure and treats zoophilia as if it were LGBTQ+, regardless of whether or not they state it is a part of LGBTQ+.

Why is Bestiality Harmful?
I know this is an obvious argument so let me get this out of the way: Animals cannot consent. Consent is the permission for something to happen or agreement to do something. Animals do not have the ability nor the intelligence to give such consent, nor do they have the concept of consent. The smartest sexually mature dogs to exist are only have the intelligence of most 3-4 year old humans. Most animals that have sex with a human without issue are conditioned to accept such sexual contact, and are taken advantage of.
Not only that, it also negatively effects the animal as well. Most physical conditions caused by bestiality can include (but not limited to) constipation, infection, diarrhea, or scarring of the anus or vagina.
Some animals that have been conditioned to have sex with a human are often euthanized because they are deemed unadoptable. While this is a sad truth, it is the person who commits bestiality's fault in the first place. Most animal shelters aren't trained to rehabilitate animals that have been conditioned to be a sex object. After the animal in question is removed from its home of its abuser, it would try to mount other humans, be triggered by things like cameras (due to being filmed doing the sexual activity), or other aggressive behaviors towards humans.
There is harmful affects to the human as well: ticks, fleas, worms, ringworm, and vaginal/penile/anal abrasion, gonorrhea, syphilis, salmonella, giardia, and brucellosis are all things that can be given to the human if they interacted with an animal sexually.
Zoosadism is the pleasure derived from cruelty to animals, however it is unrelated to sexual activity, it is not comparable to bestiality, and what I have described is not zoosadism. Saying zoosadism is worse is not a justification for bestiality either.
Other Information I Should Add
The furry fandom has nothing to do with zoophilia much at all. Not all furries are zoophiles. Being a furry is having a fascination for anthropomorphic animals, which are animals given human characteristics and intelligence. The claim that the furry fandom has zoophilic roots is false in its own right, while given no proof. None of the creators of the original "Confurence" convention ever been shown to be a zoophile. The furry fandom does not owe anything to zoophiles either.
Therians (an otherkin label, use to describe people who identify as non-human, specificlaly animals that have an identifiable species) are not inherently zoophiles, and claiming they are is invalidating to who they are. Therians do not have to bend over backwards for zoophiles nor do they owe anything to zoophiles, much like the LGBT+ or furry communities.
